Members of the National Resistance Front are seen burning a Taliban flag after they recaptured the village of Faraj as Taliban are drawn further into a low intensity conflict against an insurgency.

A lot of undocumented combat has been happening in Afghanistan over the past few weeks. A new resistance group known as the Afghan Freedom Front has released images of a shot down Taliban helicopter which saw them taking several Taliban fighters captive. On top of this, brief footage showing the destruction of a Taliban suicide vehicle in Andarab that was meant for the Afghan Freedom Front has also been released.

Unfortunately, most of this footage has been released in small snippets, and it's nearly impossible to gather all of it up and re-piece it back together. The hardest part about documenting the on-going anti-Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan right now is actually obtaining the footage and releasing it with proper context. We are continuously monitoring the situation in Afghanistan and doing our absolute best to release all of the footage that the NRF and Afghan Freedom Front are releasing.
