A Marine Corps foot patrol finds themselves decisively engaged by a well concealed Taliban machine gunner. They return fire through the grass with overwhelming firepower.

The first rule of an ambush is establish fire superiority. The second rule of an ambush is to maintain fire superiority and turn the tides on your attacker. This video shows Marines on a foot patrol doing just that when they get ambushed by a well-placed Taliban PKM gunner.
