Footage from early in Operation Iraqi Freedom, filmed by a tanker, shows another M1 Abrams showing off by driving overtop of a burnt out car.

Unknown to them is that the destroyed vehicle has been used as a platform to rig an improvised explosive device (IED). As the tank drives up and over the wreckage, the bomb detonates, sending gas and debris in all directions.

Fortunately for both crews, no one is injured and the Abrams is unscathed. Having spent a lot of time in the military myself, I can imagine that the crews are likely more worried about getting in trouble from their superiors for detonating a bomb because they were screwing around.
