A female Kurdish sniper of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) has a close call with death as an ISIS sniper bullet narrowly misses her head and impacts a wall behind her.

The footage is reportedly from the 2017 US-led battle for Raqqa, which was the Islamic State's de facto capital in Syria at the time. The Kurdish YPJ operated as part of the US-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) during Operation Inherent Resolve.
