Footage recorded by a news helicopter documents a police chase that ends with a K-9 launching itself through the air to tackle the suspect.

The footage begins with the chase already underway. The fleeing suspect already crashed one car, and then steals another from a female motorist. A male witness attempts to intervene but is almost smashed by the suspect's newly obtained vehicle.

After a brief car chase, the suspect crashes the vehicle and gets out to flee on foot. A K-9 unit arrives and releases the working dog. The dog closes the distance in seconds and flies through the air to tackle the man who is promptly taken into custody.
