The Iron Dome over Ashkelon, Israel has been getting put to work lately, with hundreds of notifications being sent out via the rocket notification mobile app in just the past few hours since this post was released.

You know you're living in weird times when the average civilians reaction to seeing rockets explode in the night sky is laughter and jokes. Over Ashkelon, Israel in the past five or so hours, hundreds of notifications have been sent out via a mobile app that tracks Iron Dome activity. The App is used to inform civilians when the Iron Dome has detected and launched counter-measures against an incoming rocket attack.

You know the Iron Dome works though. If it didn't have an extremely high efficacy rate, you wouldn't be hearing civilians laughing and telling jokes while they record the airshow directly above their heads.
