Footage taken by members of the Islamic State inside of the prison in al-Hasakah, Syria, shows scenes of chaos as guards are corralled into a corner at knife and gun-point.

Scenes of absolute chaos were released to the internet today as the Islamic State perspective of the recent al-Hasakah prison break have been released. The footage shows members of the SDF who were set up as prison guards being corralled into a corner by the prisoners who appear to have a variety of weapons ranging from machetes to Kalashnikov style rifles.

Further scenes continue to show the Islamic State perspective outside of the prison as they battle against American Apache attack helicopters and SDF ground forces who were working to keep them locked into a tight cordon. As of today, the SDF is reporting that they are once again in full control of the territory surrounding and inside of the prison facility. They have also allegedly killed over 175 ISIS fighters since the prison break began. This is however still a developing story, we will continue to bring you updates as more information becomes available.
