The early years of Iraq and Afghanistan must have been insane for the Taliban and AQI insurgency. They had no idea what they were dealing with.

Imagine being an insurgent in 2004. You know that the Coalition Forces control the airspace. You know that at any moment in time you could get deleted from the Earth from something you can't even see. What you don't know however, is that the ground troops can see in the dark. They can control the aircraft above you with completely invisible lasers. They're also wearing armor that can literally cause someone you just shot to get back up and keep moving.

This video is the perspective of some of those ground troops using an IR laser to control a rotary wing airstrike against enemy forces.
