Body worn camera police footage shows officers attempting to detain a man at a gas pump when one of them has the bright idea to deploy his taser, even after a fellow officer warned of the leaking gas threat.

Unsurprisingly, the taser ignites the fuel and suddenly the perpetrator is engulfed in flames and racing across the parking lot like a meteor. The camera-wearing cop rapidly recovers a fire extinguisher from his cruiser and puts out the fire.

The incident, which occurred in Osceola, Fla. on Feb. 27, 2022 resulted in severe burns on 75% of the suspects body. Three deputies were also burned, one of which had 3rd degree full thickness burns.
