GoPro Mounted BMP-1 Takes Direct Hit By RPG

Video reportedly from Aleppo in 2016 shows an action camera-mounted BMP-1 aggressively driving into enemy territory and then being disabled by an explosive projectile, likely an RPG-7.

One report indicated that this armored vehicle may belong to an anti Assad rebel group, but we cannot confirm. For whatever reason, the BMP-1 operator drives the vehicle high onto a berm of dirt, exposing the vulnerable, less-armored underbelly.

Throughout the video, incoming rounds can be seen and heard impacting the BMP-1 and the terrain around the vehicle. Once the light armored fighting vehicle is disabled, the crew still attempts to fire at enemy positions with the machine gun. Their eventual fate is unclear.
