The FBI has released multiple video angles of a person suspected of planting pipe bombs around Washington D.C. on the night before the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot. They are hoping the images lead to the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect placed the supposed explosive devices near the Republican and Democratic National Committees while wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and Nike Air Max Speed Turf sneakers. The bombs were constructed of 1"×8" threaded galvanized steel pipes, filled with homemade black powder, and using a kitchen timer as a detonator.

The FBI and ATF issued a reward for up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Regardless of your beliefs in the extremely polarized current political climate, a person planting bombs in a public setting is targeting civilians, and therefore a terrorist.
