A short video clip from Egypt's special operations and reconnaissance unit, Task Force 999, shows a close-range linear ambush on two unsuspecting Islamic State militants in the contested Sinai Peninsula.

The Egyptian military has been battling IS in the Sinai for six years. They execute successful large scale operations, but the Islamic State always regenerates once the government forces draw down.
