A disgruntled Russian man was shot in the head by police following a rampage that left one officer injured and a family of three dead last week.

According to local reports, the man had recently been the suspect in a domestic abuse complaint against a Kurdish woman. Following the police response, the disgruntled man dressed in full military kit and detonated a bomb on the front door of the Liski police station. CCTV footage shows the planting and explosion of the blast. One officer was injured in the blast.

Following his attack on the police station, the man drove to the plaintiff woman's house and proceeded to shoot and kill both her and her 19-year-old son and strangle to death her five-year-old son. The man then led police on a chase which ended after he was shot in the head. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
