Deadly gunfire erupted at a Hamas funeral at a Palestinian refugee camp in Tyre, Lebanon on Dec. 13, 2021, which resulted in the deaths of four people and an additional six injured.

Hamas accused the National Security Forces (NSF) of the Palestinian Authority (PA) of deliberately opening fire with automatic weapons on participants of the funeral procession. The funeral was being held for Hamza Ibrahim Shahine who had died in an explosion at a Hamas weapons depot.

Video shows an altercation breaking out seconds before the gunfire starts. Although Hamas blames the PA for the shooting, they further suggested that it was likely an Israeli operation to divide the various Palestinian groups. Hamas has accused the PA of being an agent of Israel.
