Cop T-Bones Murder Suspect With Squad Car

Footage released by the Illinois State Police shows an attempted murder suspect being apprehended on Oct. 24, 2023 after being struck by a police vehicle.

According to reports, ISP Trooper Chapman-Green initiated a stop in Springfield at which point the driver, 37-year-old Cristobal Santana, of Chicago, stepped out of the vehicle and fired at least ten shots at the officer. He then chased the officer down striking him several times before returning to his vehicle and fleeing the scene. Trooper Chapman-Green was hit by multiple bullets and sustained facial and skull fractures as well as a brain bleed.

After a several hours search, Santana was located by the police which led to a foot chase. A canine officer responded from nearby and managed to ram the suspect with his vehicle, sending him spiraling through the air.
