CCTV footage captured the moments when a knife wielding assassin attempted to stab a police officer. At the beginning of the footage, the suspect seems to be politely standing behind the officers as they are carrying out a conversation.

Without audio, it is difficult to understand the full context, however we see one officer turn around and point at the suspect multiple times. After evaluating the footage, it seems as if the officer is telling the man to put his coat down and possibly to show his hands. Within a split second after pointing at the man, he draws a large knife and begins swinging at the officer.

As the man lunges at the officer, the officer manages to dodge the first strike. The man takes a large second swing, and again is blocked by the officers forearm. Luckily for this officer, the third and final swing hits the officer in his upper left shoulder... If you're wondering why he's lucky, after taking a closer look, the blade of the knife had fallen off a split second before making contact with the officer. The third and final strike wound have been devastating had the blade still been attached.

The suspect who has now realized the blade is broken, attempts to flee the scene. The victim officer grabs ahold of the thug and slams him into the security gate, as two additional officers approach the area. The officer located behind the counter can now be seen with a rifle, as he approaches the non compliant suspect and gives him a quick muzzle thump to the head. Lucky for all involved, no one was reported inured.
