The following footage reportedly shows Colombian marines aboard guardia boats exchanging fire with Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) gunmen perched on a river bank. The date of the footage, isn't clear.

The FARC group continues to be a pain in the side of both the Colombian and Venezuelan governments as the insurgents regularly carry out attacks against infrastructure, kidnappings, and illegal mining operations.

An amnesty peace deal was agreed upon in 2016 and then implemented in 2017 in which the FARC militants would lay down their arms and reintegrate into society, however, that agreement has failed and the fighting continues.
