Footage out of Myanmar (Burma) shows a Chinese-made Junta-operated PTL-02 wheeled "Tank Destroyer" in the process of burning following a strike by anti Junta forces.

The presence of modern Chinese combat vehicles in current combat footage is relatively rare, and also highlights China's involvement in their own proxy wars across the globe.

The PTL-02 is a six-wheeled light armored car that can be equipped with either a 100mm or 105mm canon that is capable of firing HEAT rounds. Although it is labeled a tank destroyer, the system's actual ability to penetrate modern Western tank armor is questionable.
