Members of the elite Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais unit conducting a raid in a Rio de Janeiro Favela were engaged by a large number of Narco-Guerillas today in a gunfight that left at least 16 Narcos and one officer dead.

The footage above was recorded on July 22, 2022 in the Complexo do Alemão of Rio de Janeiro. According to a police spokesperson, the raid targeted a criminal ring in the Favela that stole cars, robbed banks and invaded nearby neighborhoods. In total, 16 criminals were killed and one police officer lost his life.
