Footage captured from a by-standers camera, shows the utter chaos that has been thriving for at least two days now in Kabul, Afghanistan. As thousands of civilians have now swarmed Hamid Karzai International Airport, either seeking an opportunity for protection, or an escape, the Taliban have made its approach to take over the airfield.

As shown in the footage, Afghan National Army occupied MRAP's are heard letting rounds loose, in a desperate attempt to provide safety to the surrounding civilians. Unfortunately at this time, we do not have a full understanding of what these shots were being fired at, or of the Taliban's area of approach. However this video provides some insight of the chaos ensuing due to the Taliban takeover.

Although the airfield has become a designated area for safety, it is unknown at this time how long it will last. The Taliban have been making an aggressive takeover throughout Afghanistan, with only a select few major locations remaining. I will admit, in comparison to other footage surfacing, at least ANA soldiers are present and attempting to defend Hamid Karzai International Airport.
