Footage from the 44-day war in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, sometimes referred to as the the 2nd Karabakh War, shows footage recorded by an Armenian artillery unit, as they can only watch and scramble for cover as a suspected Azeri TB2 drone systematically destroys both cannons.

The clear victory handed to the Azerbaijanis was mostly due to their investment in advanced drones, while the Armenians relied mostly on dated Soviet-era equipment. The Azeris used the Chinese-made TB2 attack drones that are able to provide reconnaissance and air-to-ground missile strikes, and also used the formidable Israeli-made Harop loiter munition, also called kamikaze drones. The Armenians had little to no defense against these weapons and were killed by the dozens.
