Azov Soldier Gets Hit During Assault On Russian Position

Footage shows Ukrainian soldiers of Azov Regiment's 3rd Assault Brigade clearing their way through Russian held wood lines. They use speed and violence of action to keep the enemy suppressed until they can get extremely close to the firing positions.

At some point during this assault, a Ukrainian soldier is seriously wounded. He appears to have sustained a significant injury to his left upper arm area, and a tourniquet can be seen high and tight near the soldier. He is able to extract himself to a nearby armored vehicle for evacuation and further treatment.

The extent of his injury isn't clear from the video, and likely wouldn't be known until they exposed the entire area. It's also not shown how he was injured. It's likely he was hit by a Russian bullet or grenade shrapnel, but just as easily could have been friendly fire as these clearing operations have been shown to be chaotically kinetic.
