Azerbaijani Artillery Hitting Armenian Positions (Nov 16, 2021)

Published Nov. 16, 2021

Footage recorded near the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan today shows members of the Azerbaijani military firing artillery towards Armenian fighting positions.

In 2020, the nations of Armenia and Azerbaijan had an extended conflict that went completely unnoticed by most of the world. While COVID was in full swing, no one was paying attention to the Nagorno-Karabakh war. That's why today, when the Azerbaijanis once again began to escalate conflict with Armenia, it's not a big surprise that the story is getting almost no attention from the media who are fully wrapped up in Biden's Infrastructure Bill and the Kyle Rittenhouse court case.

For the uninitiated, the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been one of mounting tensions and brief border clashes for almost 30 years. Last year in 2020, those clashes escalated to a full-scale war which lasted for a brief amount of time before the international community stepped in and quietly ended the conflict. This new footage, published on November 16, 2021, surfaces just a few months after the Armenians filed criminal charges against Azerbaijan for racial discrimination in the International Court of Justice. It is unclear if the situation will once again escalate further.
