A roadside CCTV camera captured the intense moments an off-duty cop went from being a victim of robbery, to apprehending his attacker with lethal force.

With the exact location unknown, it's easy to assume this happened in Brazil, but we are not definite. The only reason we have to assume is because this robbery tactic is used commonly in Brazil, but realistically this could be anywhere. At the beginning of the footage, we see a small white hatchback swerve into the oncoming lane, cutting off the white SUV, forcing both vehicles to come to a halt.

From the white hatchback, two men exit the passenger side of the vehicle, one armed and already brandishing his firearm toward the white SUV. As the suspects approach the vehicle, the armed suspect is immediately engaged by the victim. With one suspect wounded, the victim took the opportunity to exit his vehicle and reengage the suspect. Within a split second, this entire scenario took a one-eighty.

Now scared for his life, the armed suspect attempted to chase down his accomplices who were fleeing the scene. The victim clearly wanted his revenge and continued pursuing the suspect, ultimately catching him just out of distance of the CCTV camera. A few moments later, the suspect and victim can be seen further up the road, stumbling over each other and engaging in a struggle. While the footage zooms in, multiple shots can be seen firing from the victims weapon, assumingly striking the suspect, as he falls to the ground.
