The Apache is one of the greatest rotary wing assets that currently exists. This video is evidence of what makes it so devastating.

Rotary wing support is one of the best things you can get as an infantryman. I would say, the only thing greater than having an Apache or Cobra overhead is having an A-10 doing strafing runs for you. When something like the Apache is on station providing top cover for you, you feel absolutely invincible on the ground. I would hate to be an insurgent on the wrong end of one of these aerial predators.
