Anti-Junta Forces Commandeer APCs in Myanmar

Following the seizure of Laukkai by Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) forces, anti-Junta fighters have commandeered APCs belonging to the Myanmar government. Assuming these can be properly driven, used, and maintained by the MNDAA, this represents a significant upgrade in the capabilities of the anti-Junta movement, although it remains to be foreseen how the MDAA would conceal, protect, or effectively utilize the APCs with no means of refit/rearmament. However, MNDAA humor maintains that the Junta itself continues to be their biggest weapons supplier, in a jest reminiscent of early-war Ukraine’s appropriation of Russian equipment.
