Afghan Kid in Kabul Puts on Bruce Lee Performance for Civilian Contractors

An Afghan boy puts on a display of his prowess in imitating the late Bruce Lee for a couple of security contractors working the streets of Kabul. I wonder where this kid is now.

There's a couple of different sides to war. On on the one hand, you have the side of war that is all boredom with a little bit of chaos sprinkled in from time to time. In that hand, you have all of the valor and warrior spirit that could ever be written about throughout the history of mankind living in one place. In the second hand however, you have the people who are adversely impacted by conflicts that want nothing more than for the fighting to simply stop so they can get on with their life. That side of war is a whole different experience, not only for the people living it, but for the warriors witnessing it first hand.

This video is a little slice of that. You're watching a single moment in time captured on camera by a security contractor in Kabul. It shows a small Afghan boy who's decided to put on a display of his prowess and flexibility for the contractors. Unfortunately for the boy, it's unclear where his life is at right now as Afghanistan fell to the Taliban just 90 days after the current President of the United States made the decision to stop supporting the Afghan Military on the ground with logistics.

We may never know what happened to little Bruce Lee. We'll always have this single moment in time captured on camera to remember him by though. Thanks little Bruce Lee, we hope you're doing well dude.
