Accurate Taliban LMG Fire Pins Down US Troops: Helmet Cam

A gnarly firefight video out of Afghanistan shows US troops pinned down by accurate Taliban light machine-gun fire, and they respond with carbine fire and an M72 LAW.

If you're new to combat footage, the rifle reports that snap and crack are incoming enemy rounds, and they don't make that sound unless they're extremely close.

The Taliban executed a well-planned ambush. They held the high ground and the fact that the US troops were forced to look into the sun to attempt identifying enemy locations was no accident. These soldiers were incredibly lucky no one was wounded or killed during the battle.
