Las Vegas Metro Police are seeking information that can lead to the arrest of a suspect who is wanted for assaulting and attempting to murder an 80-year-old man.

Footage recorded on a Ring home security camera captured the moment an unknown attacker assaulted an 80-year-old man as he returned to his home on the 2800 block of Faiss Drive in Las Vegas. According to the police report the suspect approached the victim in his garage and attempted to rob him. The man refused to comply with the attacker and was subsequently chased with a firearm.

The security camera then captured the suspect attempting to shoot the man multiple times with his pistol. Fortunately for the victim, the pistol failed to fire several times before the suspect ran away to a vehicle parked nearby and fled the area. The suspect is a Black male, 18-25 years old, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants, and white athletic shoes. His vehicle is a newer-model black sedan with black wheels and dark tinted windows.
