WW2 Veteran Hugh Williams Evans recounts his time spent in the Italian Mountains as a Soldier with 10th Mountain Division during the Second World War.


World War 2 was a truly historic era full of men and women who would shape the future of the world with their actions. This video is an interview with 10th Mountain Division member and Silver Star Recipient Hugh Williams Evans. Evans fought with the 10th Mountain in Italy against the Germans in some of the toughest and coldest fighting of the war from the American perspective. Unfortunately, in December of last year Mr. Williams passed away at the age of 97. He was a storied Ski-Trooper and a career miner.
