US Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC)

A great Marine Corps Spec Ops moto vid by Moura Graphics thankfully uses an Imagine Dragons song rather than a headache-inducing Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard track. When people try putting “hard core” songs over military videos, they instantly become corny and embarrassing, especially when they’re training videos like this one. Man, I saw a transportation unit deployment video before that made me embarrassed to be a soldier. They were, of course, called something like the “Reapers,” and the song on the video was “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor,” while they drove trucks around. Face palm. Basically infantry.

MARSOC’S mission is to train, sustain, and deploy expeditionary forces worldwide to accomplish special operations missions assigned by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). To accomplish that, MARSOC equips and trains Marines to succeed in austere conditions against a wide range of adversaries. MARSOC executes complex, distributed operations in uncertain environments, achieving silent success and strategic impact.
