U.S. Troops Save Family From Burning Building In Korea

U.S. soldiers and airmen saved the lives of three children and their mother from a burning building on Friday. The service members, assigned to Osan Airbase in South Korea were at a shopping center when they heard the commotion. They saw a building billowing smoke, and a woman holding a baby at a window, several floors from the ground. The troops didn’t hesitate as they gathered a blanket to spread out to catch the family before they were consumed by the fire. The children all landed safely, and the mother sustained non-life threatening injuries, but all are alive due to the quick thinking, selflessness, and personal courage of the U.S. troops.
