U.S. 2d Infantry Division Wiped Out In N. Korean Propaganda Video

A recent DPRK propaganda video shows 2d Infantry Division troops as well as what appears to be American armored vehicles being obliterated in an animated missile strike, as reported by NK News. The “Indianhead” symbol can be seen at 01:05 into the video.

Although recent threatening North Korean propaganda videos have often shown the striking of U.S. cities and naval and air targets (with animations stolen from popular video games), this seems to be the first time they have actually singled out a specific American military unit.

The 2d Infantry Division, ROK/US Combined Division is the last remaining permanently forward-stationed division in the US Army. The division deters North Korean aggression and maintains peace on the Korean Peninsula; and if deterrence fails, “Fight Tonight” in support of the US-Republic of Korea Alliance… according to the U.S. Army’s website.
