Turkeys Ministry of Industry and Technology posted an interesting video showing a Turkish Special Operations police unit demonstrating a virtual reality combat simulator at a Virtual Tactical Training Center (SATEM).
The technology has the spatial awareness to allow for multiple troops to train simultaneously for various military operations, which includes force-on-force/opposing force programs. The program gives units the ability to rapidly create exact models of real target buildings and settings for relevant training. Additionally, with the click of a button, the programming team can change the layout of the sequences, which would take considerable time in physical glass house/shoot house facilities.
