A disgruntled Thai Army sergeant major went on a 16-hour shooting rampage in the city of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on Saturday, killing 29 people and wounding an additional 57.
The shooter was identified as SGT MAJ Jakrapanth Thomma, 32, and he initiated the rampage by killing his commanding officer over a housing dispute. He then went to the armory where he loaded up on weapons and ammunition.
He shot three more soldiers at the base, stole a military vehicle, and then shot four more people at a Buddhist temple. Two of those were responding policemen, and the other two were civilian bystanders.
Thomma then headed to the nearby mall where he began killing people at random. While on his rampage, he took selfies and uploaded them to social media. Thomma was eventually killed by police on Sunday morning.
