Taliban Fighter Killed By British Sniper While Emplacing IED

A video out of Afghanistan reportedly shows a Taliban fighter getting shot and killed by a British sniper while he was trying to dig in an IED.

According to the incorporated context, the UK troops observed the insurgent using a pix axe to prepare the ambush site.

It wasn’t until the next day that the insurgent returned, with a buddy, to bury the improvised explosive device.

The British sniper had likely been waiting the entire deployment for a shot like this, and when the time comes, he delivers an accurate and deadly shot.

The bullet strikes the enemy fighter and he tips over backwards. For a brief second, you can see his hands still moving, although his wound is likely fatal.

The shot must have been taken from a decent distance, because the other Taliban fighter is unsure of what just happened. As he walks up and sees his friend bleeding out, he panics and runs in the other direction. He probably zig zagged the whole way home.
