The Pentagon announced that retaliatory strikes were carried out against the Iranian militia responsible for the rocket attack that killed two US troops, one British service member, and wounded at least 12 other American troops.
According to the Department of Defense release, the US destroyed five Kataib Hezbollah weapons storage depots in a joint operation with the UK military. The Pentagon claimed the strikes were “defensive” in nature and “proportional.”
Given that the rockets would have been supplied to the insurgents by the Iranian government through the IIRGC, and us being satisfied with bombing a few ammo caches, suggests that our fallen troops are viewed by their leadership as “proportionate” to some low-level proxy dirtbags… doesn’t it?

Meanwhile, Congress just approved measures that would limit President Trump’s authority to carry out military operations against Iran.
The rocket attack: On March 11, 7:35 p.m. local time, 15 or more 107 mm rockets impacted Camp Taji, just north of Baghdad. Additional reports indicate that an American contractor may have been killed in the incident as well.
