Not to be outdone by the Navy, US Air Force aircraft allegedly draw “Sky Penis” over Ramstein AFB in Germany last week.
The skies over US military air stations around the globe have become the latest battleground in interservice rivalry. Not to be outdone by the Navy’s “Sky Penis” late last year over Washington state, the Air Force has answered back with its own manner of vapor-trail vandalism.
Surfacing initially on a reddit post with an accompanying picture titled “Spotted over the skies of Ramstein AB. We beat the Navy.” Several more images subsequently surfaced on a popular Facebook page geared towards Airmen.
The images quickly bounced around social media – sparking a debate about the whether the phallic contrails were intentional, or a hilarious happenstance.
After close inspection of the images, it is entirely possible that the incident was a coincidence. The Ramstein penis clearly lacks the definition of the Navy’s Washington sky penis
The two Navy pilots who used their EA-18G Growler to draw a giant sky penis starting the rivalry were eventually disciplined according to the Navy.
What do you guys think? Was the Air Force’s Sky Penis intentional? If so, who’s is better?
