A foundation known as The Australian War Memorial exists in Canberra, Australia. Their purpose is to help Australians commemorate the sacrifice of those who have served and died in war for the nation of Australia, while also remaining open as a research institution and venue for a number of projects involving Australian Service Members. On YouTube, they boast an expansive library of over 286 well produced videos that all revolve around the institution, and Australian service members from all walks of life.
The video below is one of their longer pieces that covers down on Australia’s Special Operations teams, and their most recent activities in support of Australia and her allies. Developed in partnership with the Special Operations Command of Australia, this video and the live exhibition they host at their center aims to cast a light into the shadows where little information normally exists. The video itself is 20 minutes long, and well worth putting in your “watch later” list on YouTube if you don’t have the time to watch it right now. The exhibition itself hosts well over 600 items that have, for the most part, never been seen or viewed by the general population of Australia.
These are one group of guys you do not want to be on the receiving end of.
