A historically pleasing video documents scenes from the Rhodesian Bush War (1964-1979) while overplayed to the Glitch Mob remix of The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.”
Oversimplified, the Rhodesian Bush War was a three-sided conflict fought for the control of what is now Zimbabwe. For nearly a hundred years, the minority white population governed the former British colony, but that reign ended as a result of the war.
The three main belligerents were the Rhodesian government, the nationalist Zimbabwe African National Liberation Army, and the communist Zimbabwe People’s Revolutionary Army.
