Rebel fighters conduct another TOW strike, this time on Iranian fighters clustered in what appears to be a rooftop meeting.
Here’s a pretty brutal TOW strike on a group of Iranian militia-men hanging out on a roof. It’s an outstanding lesson in concealing your position from the enemy. When you make yourself a soft target of opportunity, bad things happen.
Over the past few months we have seen a dramatic increase in the use of the BGM-71 TOW missile system by rebel fighters. In previous articles we have spoken at length on how they are getting the missiles. Here’s a link to that article if you’re interested. >>>HERE<<<
I’m beginning to think these TOW strikes are a lot like the IED videos of the past. They are being uploaded almost daily, and being used haphazardly by rebel forces, on just about everything.
A machine gun could have done this exact same job, for about 1/100th of the price-tag. Sure they would have had to get a little closer, and actually utilize fundamental marksmanship, but I kind of figured they should be using these missiles on tanks, or armored vehicles.
It may be time for the CIA to reconsider what the rebel fighters are shooting at, and stop providing them these weapons. They’re just wasting them on mushy targets because it’s easy, and frankly, lazy.
