Israeli Defense Forces Use Robo Dummy To Draw Enemy Fire

Amid recent flareups in fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, the IDF deployed a dummy soldier mounted on a remote robotic vehicle in an attempt to get the enemy sniper team to reveal their location.

The attempted misdirection almost seems comical, but dummy decoys have been successfully used since the beginning of recorded warfare, and past instances have shown that enemy sniper teams are not always the brightest.

It was reported that Hezbollah snipers were intentionally firing from within close proximity to a Nepali UN contingent in hopes that IDF counter fire would hit the UN troops. Meanwhile, the UN force has done nothing to quell the movement and operation of Hezbollah terror activities in the region and only unintentionally act as a human shield for the terrorists, making it harder for Israel to defend its borders.
