A reportedly recent video out of Syria demonstrates what it’s like to be on the receiving end of an anti tank guided missile (ATGM) strike.
We have posted dozens of videos highlighting ATGM strikes from the war on Syria, and most of them are recorded by the launching team. In those videos we see the targeted troops react way too late, if at all.
In this rare video we can see why. There is no warning given. In slow motion you can see the munition enter the frame absolutely devastate the technical-mounted anti aircraft weapon.
According to reports, the missile was launched by Syria’s al Qaeda affiliate Hyat Tahrir ash Sham (HTS), and those targeted were of an Iranian proxy group known as the “Backer Battalions.” The reports also suggest one of the Iranian-backed commanders was killed during the strike.
