Houthi Rebels shoot down a coalition drone with a Surface to Air Missile (SAM) purportedly over the skies in Yemen. The fiery wreckage crashed to the ground and subsequently fell into rebel hands.
A coalition drone, possible Saudi or UAE operated, was allegedly shot down over Yemen by Houthi rebels. The rebels fired a visually obscured and unidentified land-based SAM at the low flying drone, knocking it out with a single missile. After the mid-air explosion the drone, which appears armed, slowly falls to the ground and lands in a farmer’s field. The Rebels quickly attempt to extinguish the flames before piling on the wreckage.
