A group is pinned down on a ridge-line taking heavy incoming fire. Meanwhile their JTAC is working up an airstrike to get them moving.
This is one of those situations where everything is going badly. An element of this mission is pinned down on top of a ridge-line taking fire from a building. They can’t do much themselves to get going, so their JTAC (callsign Doom04) decides it’s time to put warheads on foreheads.
Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. If you watch carefully throughout the video, you can see some distant muzzle flashes from the Taliban. These muzzle flashes mostly come from the tree in the lower left hand of the video, but there are a few other points, and places that they can be seen.
Truly one of the more intense situations encountered on camera. If anyone from any of the call-signs in this video, or any of the individuals present that day has a story, please message the Facebook page directly. We would absolutely love to hear from you, and get some more context as to who, what, when, where, and why this video happened.
