Pilots conducting high speed maneuvers encounter an error. They are able to eject seconds before the jet slams into the ground.
According to Murphy, anything that can go wrong, will. When these two pilots are inches off of the deck doing some high-speed maneuvers, they encounter a catastrophic failure. It’s a good thing that fighter pilots have pure ice running through their veins, otherwise this video would have had a much different outcome.
Good on these pilots for acting on their instincts, and realizing that the aircraft could not be saved. The jet might be expensive, but good pilots are priceless.
