Militarily, China is a force to be reckoned with. With a staggering population of nearly 1.4 billion people, 600 million of which are able-bodied personnel, facing them in a conventional war of attrition would be quite an undertaking.

With around 10,000 tanks, 5,000 armored fighting vehicles, and roughly another 10,000 artillery and rocket units, China’s existing land force is formidable.
