Pakistani Military Convoy Chewed Up By Separatist Machine Guns

A Pakistani military convoy is engaged with accurate small arms fire by separatist rebels of the Baloch Liberation Army insurgent group on 23 January 2017. The distance is unknown, but one can assume it’s pushing the limits of the maximum effective range of a point target for the weapon systems used, and considering that, these rebels are surprisingly accurate.

Unwisely, the Pakistani troops stop in the kill zone, and attempt to return fire on an enemy that is in a predetermined, covered fighting position. The smart course of action for the Pakistanis, assuming their vehicles were still operable, would be to either accelerate through the kill zone or turn around and egress as quickly as possible.
