A recently released video reportedly originating out of Kirkuk shows pro Iraqi government Shia militiamen of the Kata’b Hezbollah group also known as the Hezbollah Brigades in various chaotic engagements with ISIS militants near Kirkuk.
The fighters are faced with suicide vehicle borne improvised explosive devices and are able to detonate the car bombs before they get too close. Next the militiamen stand on a berm and unload small arms into dismounted ISIS fighters who are charging at them on foot, laden with explosive vest. The insurgents are cut down before encroaching the perimeter, but still manage to detonate their vests, sending pieces of them everywhere.
