The improvised armored vehicle industry was reportedly operating under the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. The vehicles shown in the video are massive and crude in nature. The multiple firing ports suggest it is to be used by multiple insurgents carrying small arms. Yet, the over abundance of ports seems like it would unnecessarily expose the occupants to incoming rounds which would ricochet aside the steel box. The tires are also exposed and present a major Achilles Heel in its operation.
